Yes, as hard as it can be, it really will pass. I know this from experience.
I’ve had my share of hard times (as young as I am) and I’ve had many good times as well. The hard times seem to last longer than the good times. Allow me to let you in on a little secret that has helped me: when times are tough, smile. Breathe. Know that you are here for a reason, that Jesus loves you – even when you don’t feel like it or that He does. If we went based off of feelings all the time, well, God wouldn’t be good. He’d be whatever we felt like He was in the moment. Close, distant, caring, mean, loving, unjust.
You get what I’m saying, right? We have to remember that no matter how much we change (and we do change, sometimes for the worse, sometimes for the better) God stays the same. He truly loves you and cares about you! So when you are ‘living the life’ happy as can be, don’t forget the struggles you went through to get there, don’t forget the God who helped you get there. Be humble, but don’t forget to enjoy yourself too.
When you are going through the toughest time of your life, whether it be not moving to the house of your dreams, or getting the job right away that you went to college for, losing that dream client, watching someone you love fade from depression or do things that harms themselves but they won’t allow you to help them, just stop, pray. Take a deep breath and allow God to do His work.
There is a reason why you are where you are today. You probably don’t know what that reason is, just yet. But someday you will. Someday everything will make sense. Allow God’s peace to calm you and help you to move forward while trusting in His Will.
You’ve got this!
Bye for now, have a wonderful day!
