God’s Not Done With You

Tauren Wells – God’s not done with you
“God’s not done with you, so don’t hide, don’t run” that is so hard to do (or should I say not do). There have been so many times where hiding and running from the difficulties of life seems easier. A good thing to keep in mind is Jonah in the Bible. He tried to run from God and his calling, things he didn’t want to do, but in the end it would have been ten times easier if he had just listened to God the first time!
“God’s got a plan, this is part of it” and that’s tough to remember. He really does have a plan for your life and loves you so much! Even though you can’t see the horizon, it will come. I know that from experience. It’s disappointing that the sunrise might not be within twenty-four hours, but it does come, eventually.
“God’s not done writing your story” and guess what? He is the greatest storyteller of all times, so how could it be anything less than amazing? You may be down from another failure, another disappointment, and yes it hurts – bad. But try to imagine how much better of a person you will become after this trying phase of your life! A tree doesn’t become big and strong without going through several storms. You will grow big and strong like a tree after this storm (and the next one, and the next one) even though it seems scary as you are going through it. You will make it, I believe in you!
Try to think of the last time that you went through a hardship. What can you learn from it? Besides all of the negatives, what positive things became of it? You may have learned something about yourself or someone else that will help you in the future. Maybe you had a hidden talent that you didn’t even know you had! Whatever it may be, remember that God brings good out of the bad. It may take you awhile to see it (you may never see it until someday when you are in heaven), but that is something encouraging to keep in mind.
I’d be happy to pray for you and whatever you are going through! Shoot me a message on the contact page!
Bye for now, have a wonderful day!
